Simon Mayle

Simon Mayle was born in the UK, moved to the US and now lives in Cornwall with his own two shoutykids. He works in film and TV and amongst his credits are ‘THERE’S ONLY ONE JIMMY GRIMBLE’ –winner of the Brown Bear at Berlin Film Festival, Golden Griffin at Griffoni, best feature at Vienna and best feature at Kyoto.

David Mackintosh

David Mackintosh is an Australian designer, art director and illustrator. As a designer he has worked with some of the biggest names in children’s publishing and also in publishing, theatre, TV production and advertising. David’s first book Marshall Armstrong is New to Our School was shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize and his second, The Frank Show, was on FT.com list of Best Books 2012. David lives in London, loves books with pictures in them, flying, visiting cities and being read to.

Kate Maryon

Kate Maryon is a homeopath and complimentary therapist who has worked with many young people. She lives in Somerset with her partner and her large Newfoundland dog, Ellie.

Kate loves chocolate, British films, eating out, reading, writing and lying on sunny beaches. She dislikes snakes, spiders, peppermint and honey.
