Alison Sage

Alison Sage has been a children’s editor and writer for over twenty years. She read English at King’s College, London, and began her career in children’s publishing with Ernest Benn. It was access to their archives, representing seventy years of publishing, that spurred a lifelong passion for children’s literature.

Brian Sibley

Brian Sibley is a noted writer and broadcaster best known in Tolkien circles for his work on the BBC’s epic 1981 radio serialisation of The Lord of the Rings, as well as books about the maps of Middle-earth and the making of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film trilogies. In 2022 he was the recipient of the Tolkien Society’s ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’.

Rob Scotton

Rob Scotton is a prolific artist and illustrator. He studied at Leicester Polytechnic and now lives in Rutland with his wife, Liz, who is also an artist. Rob only had to look out of his studio window to find the inspiration for ‘Russell the Sheep’, his debut picture book. The rolling countryside surrounding his home is brimming with sheep, other wildlife, sheep, rural beauty and more sheep!

Fiona Shaw

Fiona Shaw, CBE (Hon) (born July 10, 1958) is a leading Irish actress who regularly appears in London theatre, although to international audiences she is probably most familiar for her role as Petunia Dursley in the Harry Potter films. She has been regarded as one of the finest classical actresses of her generation. Shaw was awarded an honorary CBE in 2001.

Tui Sutherland

Tui is named after a New Zealand bird and was born in Caracas, Venezuela. In high school and college she discovered theatre and spent most of her spare time backstage, but her first love is writing. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
