Yoko was born in Osaka, Japan. She studied English Literature at Doshisha women’s college in Kyoto and then worked as a planner at a stationery company and as an illustrator in Japan before coming to England to study Illustration at Cambridge School of Art

W. B. Yeats

Yeats was also a major playwright and founded the Abbey Theatre, Ireland’s national theatre. He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1923.
