The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson - Fab Confessions of Georgia Nicolson (vol 7 and 8): Startled by his furry shorts! / Luuurve is a many trousered thing (The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson)

By Louise Rennison

The brilliantly funny seventh and eighth novels in the GEORGIA NICOLSON series, out now in gorgey new paperback omnibus edition by recent winner of the ROALD DAHL FUNNY PRIZE.

‘Startled by his furry shorts’:
Why did I admit I wanted Masimo to be my proper boyfriend? Why?

  • One minute he was snogging me, and then the next he was snogging Wet Lindsay, stick insect and drip.
  • Perhaps I should tell him he can go out with her as well as me…
  • But then I might snog him after she has snogged him, which would mean I have practically snogged her!!!
  • I would rather snog my cat, Angus!
  • He has certainly got nicer legs… Well, more of them anyway.

‘Luuurve is a many trousered thing’:
The original Sex God has re-landed, Masimo the Italian Stallion wants to be her boyfriend, and Dave the Laugh is still a regular snoggee. How will Georgia cope juggling all three boys? Have her days on the rack of love really gone for good? Surely not!

Follow Georgia’s hilarious antics as she desperately muddles her way through teenage life and all that it entails: make-up disasters, rapidly expanding nunga-nungas, school – urgh – unsympathetic friends, highly embarrassing family (and pets) and, of course, BOYS…

Louise Rennison was a journalist, comedian and beloved author. In 1999, she introduced Georgia Nicolson to the world with ANGUS THONGS & FULL-FRONTAL SNOGGING – the first in a 10-book series. The book won the Nestlé Smarties Book Prize Bronze Award and was adapted for film in 2008. In the same year, Louise was crowned Queen of Teen for the series, and in 2010, was awarded the Roald Dahl Funny Prize for WITHERING TIGHTS – the first in a spin-off following the hysterical misadventures of Georgia’s cousin, Tallulah. Sadly, Louise passed away in 2016 at 64-years-young. She left behind a legion of adoring readers who hold Georgia and the Ace Gang close to their hearts. Her books have been translated into 37 languages and have sold more than 2.6 million copies in the UK. Louise lives on through her cherished character Georgia – who was based on her own teen experiences. In Louise’s and Georgia’s own words: “He who laughs last, laughs the laughiest.”
